Airborne Wind Europe, representing the AWE sector across Europe, is making a bold statement by participating in WindEnergy Hamburg 2024. As the European AWE association, it emphasises the importance of fostering industry-wide collaboration to drive the success of the AWE field. In our own Stand 425 in Hall B7, we will display a 40m² kite from our member Kitepower, giving attendees a first-hand look at AWE technology. SkySails, one of the pioneers in the AWE sector, is equally dedicated to WindEnergy Hamburg 2024. The company has achieved significant milestones, including the world’s first externally validated performance curve for AWE technology and its successful support to include AWE in Germany’s Renewable Energy Law (EEG). Its participation at the event underscores its leadership in the sector and its role in ensuring that AWE is a groundbreaking solution of future energy systems. During the fair, SkySails will host engaging discussions at the “Speakers Corner” in Hall 3, where industry leaders will dive into topics such as AWE site development and its potential to redefine energy generation. Its booth, located at Hall B6, Stand 205, will showcase the latest advancements in AWE technology, allowing visitors to explore the transformative capabilities of this wind solution.
EnerKíte, another major leader in the AWE field, will also play a pivotal role during the fair. Known for its high-performance systems, EnerKíte aims to make renewable energy more accessible and affordable. EnerKíte will unveil its new system design at Hall A3, Stand 672, and display a high-performance wing, offering a glimpse into the future of AWE. In addition, EnerKíte will launch the pre-sale of its EK100 system, showcasing its cutting-edge technology in order to reach net zero emissions. On the other hand, attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with EnerKíte’s team to discuss the investment potential and the role that AWE can play in a fully renewable energy system.
