Airborne Wind Europe is the leading association representing the European Airborne Wind Energy sector. Founded in 2018, our mission is to advance the development and deployment of Airborne Wind Energy systems across Europe. Our members include all European manufacturers of AWE systems, along with over 50 institutions involved in the global supply chain, going from research institutes to energy utilities and financial institutions. Our goal is to foster collaboration and dialogue among stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, suppliers, and energy consumers, to create a consistent political and regulatory framework for AWE across Europe.
