AWE sector recommendations for German policy makers (20 July 2026)
Der Flugwindenergie (FWE)-Sektor hat eine Reihe von Forderungen und Empfehlungen an politische Entscheidungsträger in Deutschland entwickelt. Diese beinhalten insbesondere die Berücksichtigung von FWE-Systemen im Luftraum sowie die Vergütung im EEG.
The Airborne Wind Energy (AWE) sector has developed specific demands and recommendations towards policy and decision makers in Germany. They include specifically the integration of AWE systems into the airspace as well as the remuneration in the Renewable Energy Act (EEG).

On 20 July 2026, Airborne Wind Europe submitted specific comments to the draft EEG revision (“Referentenentwurf”) through the German Renewable Energy Association BEE and the German Wind Energy Association BWE.
