Why are you joining Airborne Wind Europe?

Innovation is not just about technological breakthrough, it’s about societal acceptance and effective communication. AWE has the potential to revolutionize energy generation, but its success relies on engaging communities, policymakers, and industries. This holistic approach aligns with Airborne Wind Europe´s mission to foster sustainable energy solutions and driving Europe’s leadership in this field.

What are your previous experiences?

Throughout my career, I’ve prioritized the role of public acceptance in deploying renewable energy technologies. AWE offers a unique chance to involve diverse stakeholders in the energy transition, ensuring it becomes a widely accepted part of Europe’s renewable energy portfolio.

By leveraging my experience in EU project management and stakeholder engagement, I hope to support Airborne Wind Europe in navigating the complex landscape of renewable energy advocacy and deployment. Let´s ensure that Europe remains a global leader in renewable innovation, with AWE serving as a shining example of what can be achieved through collaboration, ambition, and a commitment to sustainability.

What excites you the most about AWE?

AWE technology can propel us towards a sustainable future, demonstrating Europe’s capacity for cutting-edge solutions. Ensuring this technology remains rooted in Europe is about more than economic competitiveness, it’s about leading in solutions that are sustainable, inclusive, and forward-thinking. I am thrilled to be part of a team that embodies this vision.

What’s next for AWE that you want to help with?

Europe must prioritize investments in AWE, especially as the industry approaches commercialization. Protecting and amplifying our competitive edge is crucial, and I am eager to contribute to these efforts.
