Such an incredible working trip to the Netherlands to attend the MegaAWE Interreg NWE Platform Meeting!

We had the opportunity to meet in person with all the partners from the consortium led by Mayo County Council in order to continue researching and developing Airborne Wind Energy technology and bring it to a commercial scale.

We hope we can see very soon Kitepower testing in Bangor Erris, North Mayo Ireland.

Thanks Johannes Peschel and Kitepower for being a key part of this project and for inviting us to your headquarters in #Delft to look firsthand the Falcon 100 KW system which can provide enough power to supply 100 households.

Thanks as well to Delft University of Technology and Roland Schmehl for hosting us and for giving us the opportunity to observe during our visit how a wind tunnel works and also to see the Large Low-Speed Wind Tunnel (LLF), which is one of the largest wind tunnels in #Europe. It´s used for a wide range of research activities, including aerodynamic testing of aircraft, wind turbine blades, and other structures.

On the other hand, thanks as well to Fuchszeug and Kevin Rand for allowing us to see a system demonstration operation with its former Ampyx Power AP3 150 KW in its headquarters at Breda International Airport.

Let´s make it happen soon in Beas de Segura, Jaén.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Mayo County Council in September!
