The report “The economic impact potential of Airborne Wind Energy” has drawn media attention by showing that AWE could generate up to €10.5 billion in economic value and create 30,600–104,300 job-years in Germany over the next decade.
By complementing solar and conventional wind, AWE can strengthen energy security, system flexibility, and industrial competitiveness, positioning Germany to lead in this emerging renewable technology.
